I was inspired by all my multiply mommies to write about my Alyssa’s excitement about her going to school. Almost everyday, I scout for different nurseries knowing that I have lots of things to consider. There are three nurseries very near our place, but considering the fees, I don’t think I can enroll her to any of those three. The one is just in front of our house, but it will cost us more than our house rent. Nurseries here cater to children from 3 months to 5 years. It is where parents can leave their children as they work. It usually opens from 8am-6pm and all children should be picked up before 6 since certain fees apply for every minute pass 6pm. Therefore, when I work, her nursery should be very near my workplace for me to pick her up before the closing time. She already wants to go to school. Whenever she’s playing, she always prentends that she’ll already be going to her school. I have talked to her about me leaving her in her school since Mommy will be working and since then, she always says, “Mommy, punta na ako sa school ha? Iwan mo lang ako ha? Tapos work ka, tapos play ako dun, slide, swing, write, read, then sleep din. Tapos sunduin ako ni Mommy and Daddy para uwi na tayo.” She always says that whenever going to school enters her mind.

The problem is, schools don’t accept students yet since schools opens on September. And since I don’t know yet where will I apply for work, I still can’t decide where to enroll her. Haayz!!! Therefore, I have to wait for play centers to open first so I can leave her there whenever I have job interviews and wherever I got hired, that’s the best place for me to enroll her..Oh my..very difficult situation for someone who has no one to leave her child to even for just a few hours..
