Yesterday was a really lovely day. Mr. sun has been hiding from us for quite a long time and I could say that he takes a great part on my everyday mood. I feel more cheerful when it’s sunny and gloomy and lazy when it’s not. Good thing he showed up yesterday so I was able to have a good clean up. I missed opening our windows so yesterday was a great time and I was able to take away some really serious dust all over the house. What a productive day for me.

Every time I do a general cleaning, I always have this feeling of wanting to buy something new for the house for me to feel like everything’s new again. This time, I am thinking of adding a rug in our dining to add more color as it has bare wood flooring so here I am browsing for some modern rugs on the CSN online store and hopefully hubby agrees with me.

So far I have this rug in mind. It will complement our living room rug which is a patch of cream and brown squares and the theme of the house which is a bit orangey. I want it also that it’s not so light and that if anything is spilled, whatsoever it won’t be as dirty.

Yesterday was my daughter’s dental appointment and besides the fact that it’s not a fun appointment to attend to, travelling for almost an hour isn’t fun as well. We rode the bus and I really tried to take a nap because my head is aching like crazy for the many bus stops then go. It’s our 2nd time there and on both times, the weather wasn’t fine. It was raining and though it’s cold outside, it was like we’re being cooked inside the bus as we were caught in peak hours.

But the, we were just so lucky that no one smokes inside the bus or any transpostation vehicle here, unlike in the Philippines where we also experience the same kind of trip, but worst because there are so many inconsiderate individuals who smoke just about anywhere they want. Some even showcase their perdomo as they so proud that they are able to puff such.

Oh, forgive me for this rant. I just have to let this out of my system as I am still exhausted from yesterday. Really not a good day for me.

When I started blogging a couple of years back, I really have no idea that earning from it is possible. Then when I started monetizing my blogs last year, I didn’t know that there are so much more to it. I was surprised to know there are indeed direct advertisers who are willing to advertise on blogs and that they pay more than what I expected.

So now, I have to work double time for my stats to be improved like traffic, PR and Alexa ranking as these contribute so much to the value of the blog. Some things I have yet to learn are internet marketing and SEO. I wish to at least know their basics so I can implement them on my blogs.
