Masters, Cannot Be?

As much as I want to earn a master’s degree, I know it can’t be. I never had a work in a company since graduation and it seems like I won’t have until God knows when. I have been praying for it ever since, but I have accepted that God has other plans for me. I am a graduate of Business Management and Entrepreneurship and now trying to find my way to the entrepreneurship world. so I tried researching if there are possible ways on how I can study further and found this online business degree.

Upon reading through, I am still not fit to the criteria, but I will get there soon, hopefully. I may not be an xperienced business professional/manager seeking upward career mobility and need the credentials to do so, but I can be an individual with “real world” experience who seek in-depth knowledge and skills in business management and strategy. We’ll see where life takes me. :)

My Little Rubbish Guard

My sweet Alyssa has been our rubbish guard for quite some time now. She is our recycle girl at home and it’s makes me feel proud that she knows how to dispose different kinds of rubbish properly. You can actually ask her to enumerate recycable materials and she will answer – tin cans, papers, cereal boxes, tissue rolls, water bottles, softdrink bottles, and anything with 3 arrows drawing. ;)

She checks our bins from time to time to see if we are segregating them properly. When we are outside and she sees cans, papers, bottles or anything she knows are recycable, she always say, “uh uh… Mum, where should it go? Why do people throw their rubbish on the road?” And all I can say is, “Because Anak, there really are people who doesn’t care. We are lucky that we know the right way to throw our rubbish.”

It’s been proven time and again – kids know better than adults – while us, adults, can do so much to save mother earth.

In hubby’s office, all pencils are made of recycled papers and they use document imaging instead of using a lot of papers. I believe most companies now are practicing paper-less conversations and file transfers. At the end of their emails, they give suggestion of not printing emails at all to save from paper. Simple things like these surely counts.

Let’s protect our surroundings. It’s for us – given by God to enjoy and care for.

Review for College Exams

No matter how young our kiddos are today, in just a few moments they’ll all be grown ups and ready to leave us all behind :-( – for college. ;) As early as now, we tend to get everything ready like planning for the university for them. Of course our dreams count Harvard and Cambridge, but then reality always kicks in. It’s not as easy as it seems. What we have to focus on now is how we can make our child ready when that time comes.

Both my husband and I went through that stage and we know how hard it is to go through different examinations just to pass to the schools of our choice. My mom let me underwent a review for a couple of months to get myself ready for the different college entrance exams and I believe it’s now called sat prep. When the time comes for my daughter to take all these exams, I will do just what my mom did – enroll her to the best review school.
