Like I said on my previous blog, Cupcakes by MommyVanj has closed in the Philippines and will probably cater now to Chicago clients from here on. And though we are sad that you had to leave our Manila based friends, we are at the same time happy for you and Sam as you get reunited with your parents after 11 long years. Thank you for the wonderful friendship Mareng Vanj, we will surely miss you but we won’t say goodbye for we know that we will get to see you and Sam again and get to taste your yummy and beautiful cake. Can wait to hear from you again and hoping that your dad will liked the garmin hand held gps gift that you bought for him and I’m sure your mom will love the pulvoron and all the other local candies you got for her.

I still can’t believe how big she has become, having known her family for quite sometime now through our online mommy group back in multiply days, Jillian suprises me to no end.

She just turned 6 last February and she’s considered as the newest child wonder in the Philippines. Having done several tv shows, movies and commercials, she is probably the biggest celebrity among her age. Together with “Santino” Zaijan Jaranilla and Kris Aquino/James Yap’s “baby james” James Yap Jr. Jillian was named the most favorite child personalities by the Lingkod TV awards last year. Her newest soap opera Captain Barbell with fellow actor Richard Gutierrez is set to hit the tv screen on Monday March 28 right after 24 Oras. She is also the newest addition to the sensational Nestea tvc of Nicos, Mattina and family, her role being Mattina’s younger sister Bettina.

Here’s hoping to meet you one day Jillian, maybe on our next trip to Manila especially your mom Jen, elder sister Buffy and baby sister Jenel. Can you see the cutie little boy up there? He’s one cutie who just loves staying with hubby. This was in Bacolod, Philippines during our dear friends’ wedding. During the church ceremony, we were so surprised when he sat beside hubby, put his hand on hubby’s lap and just stayed there the whole time. Oh, if you can see hubby’s face, he was just so happy. Seems like he really wanted to have his little man already. Good thing our dear Alyssa didn’t get jealous of the attention we gave the little boy, instead she just played with him. On the reception, we thought he’s somewhere far that we can no longer see him, but seems like he really wants our company that he again came and stayed with us on our table. His parents can’t say anything but laugh about how attached his son is to us.

Honestly, I was teary eyed when they went home, but good thing he was already asleep then. I can’t help but think of our future little bearer in bow tie with our little flower girl. They will surely make a perfect Saldua kiddies.
