Western Theme Party

For my godson Aj’s 2nd birthday party this year her mom wants it intimate with very few close family and friends. I helped her picked a theme and we’re doing a cowboy party. I was assigned with the party giveaways which are personalized coffee mugs with pictures as well as the party games. I made a collage for him from birth to present for the coffee mug design which will be used for the banner/tarp as well. We’ll be serving light snacks like smoked salmon bruschetta , greek salad, savory puff, potato skins, sausage rolls, chicken nuggets for the kids, some cookies and cupcakes.

Next week we might pick up the birthday boy’s typical cowboy look outfit, some party amenities, prizes for the games and goodies. Now I can’t wait to prepare for Alyssa’s 6th birthday this year.

Relocating???

I just want to share a frined of our’s strategy when they relocated to another country. She just told us what she did and I thought maybe one of my readers are needing it, so I better share it here.

She’s currently working here in London when she has been seconded to another coutry. She’ll be leaving behind her husband and daughter so since she’ll be away for more than 3 motnhs, she just decided that her husband and daughter stay in the Philippines so everything will be practical. When I asked what they did to their things, she said she rented a self storage where there’s no maximum time limit. This is helpful because since she’ll still try if she can move her family with her soon after, she doesn;t have to worry about their things for they’re in a secured place.

Well, for me, it’s a smart move. So if anyone of you here is considering relocating, this is one good option.
