Our Travel Insurance Claims

Every year, hubby pays for our travel insurance since we always travell once a year and it’s cheap because it’s under his company. The other year, when we went home to the Philippines, my daughter got food poisoned so she got admitted to one of the prestigious hospitals in Manila because that’s the nearest for us when she started vomiting. When we went back here, hubby tried to apply for claims and good enough, we were approved.

Then last year, we brought her to the emergency room because of her on and off fever and again, hubby tried if we can still claim. We have, but not like the first one because they said it’s only for in-patient that they can give bigger fraction of claims. But then at least, we were able to take back something. We also have a Medicare plan, but hubby is yet to write to them so we’ll see what happens.

Jennifer Gray Had Herniated Disk Too

I was browsing the web searching for information about slipped disk or herniated disk when I read about Jennifer Gray having the same. I have been suffering from it for more than 5 years now – since I gave birth. Before it was only around my lower back, but now the pain is spreading around my neck to the upper back and arms.

According to ABC News, Gray has been given an epidural steroid injection to keep the pain away, but if not she may be given another injection. I hope mine can be treated by simple warm compress, but by the pain I am expriencing, I am afraid to admit that I think this already calls for a surgery. I don’t know how I can undergo with it, but they said I may be given an acl braces for support during the treatment.

Looking Forward to our Weekend Stroll

Since I really got a tight schedule during Alyssa’s half-term break, hubby said we’ll just make it up to her on weekend. She doesn’t complain, but I know she’ll love it when she spends the half-term like a real holiday instead of just staying at home the whole week. I know she misses the park so much, it’s just that the weather isn’t fine enough so we’ll have to wait for a few more weeks. Spring, come early please.

As for me, aside from being able to see London again, the dining out part is what excites me particularly. I have gained already anyway, so I better enjoy the food until weekend. After that, I’m back to no breakfast-no lunch days again. When I like to eat, I eat them all and I don’t control myself since I know I can get back into shape in no time. I know these eating habits are not good and in a few years, I’m sure I’ll be needing growtropin to regain my usual appetite.
