Waiting for the stork to arrive.

My husband Mark and I have been trying to give our daughter Alyssa a baby brother or a sister and it excites me to know that some of my friends have successfully conceived.  A highschool friend has been married for 2 years and is patiently waiting for the stork to arrive. A few days back we caught each other online and talks about how she thinks that she is pregnant now with all those pimples breaking out on her face. Of course with a face full of pimples may have anybody running for the best acne solutions we can afford, but if you’re pregnant you may want to avoid even the OTC acne treatment until you have spoken to your doctor. Just to make sure everything you use and all your medications are safe to your unborn child.

The Snack Wagon

For 2 days I have been watching my online kumares with fascination as they share their snack through facebook photos. With a theme each day, I’m sure it can wreak havoc on their so called diet.  I believe day 1 was “pasta” day and “dessert” the next. Imagine seeing different photos of yummy Filipino foods in 2 days, sure it killed me.  After 2 days though, they stopped having a theme and will just post whatever kind of snack they had during the day as they all decided it is quite expensive and needs a lot of effort too. Anyone who needs diet weight loss pills at this rate? LOL

Be active.

My brother wants to start his weight training this year but he wants to do it at home. Set up his own mini gym so he could work out alone, how and when he wants to. He has some plates already with 50mm holes for a barbell, power rack and squat rack. Now all he has to do is to start to look up for more equipment like pull up bar, a couple of dumbbells, workout mat , etc. I even suggested to decorate his area with motivational posters to make it a little encouraging.

Train hard brother…all the best!
