Samsung 42"

…and counting. :P We were still in the Philippines when hubby purchased it and I can still remember hubby’s lines when he first called to announce his grand expense, “Mum, I’ve done something I’m sure you won’t like”, of course I know it’s some kind of his funny whatnots  and so I took it lightly, but when he said, “I bought a 42 inch Samsung HDTV“, I blurted out, “WWWHHHAAATTT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?” But of course what else can I say or do? It’s already installed in his flat with the home theatre and all, most of all I can feel how happy he was with his new TV. He said he didn’t consult me first because he knows I won’t allow it and yes, he’s definitely right.

Now that it’s been giving us good entertainment for 3 years, all thanks to my beloved hubs. It’s still in its excellent condition, except for the DVD player, but the color quality hasn’t changed a bit.

The Body Shop – Satsuma Range

body shop - satsuma

I so love Body Shop, but because I find their items too pricey, I only get to use their products when my mom and aunt will be the one to pay. ;) My favorite then was their lip and chick tint, but when they changed the packaging, the quality of it also changed so I stopped and used another brand.

When we transferred to our current rented flat, I fancied their home fragrance and Satsuma became our favorite. I availed of the discount card only because I know I’ll be a frequent buyer of the Satsuma Oil.

Then a few weeks back, my aunt told me about the body products in Satsuma line and said she’s using it and it’s really good. I gave it a try and no mistake, it’s really G-O-O-D!!!

Even better because I got so much discounts because of my ever dearest friend, Jo, who made me use my discount card plus the £5 off her purchases.

They say Body Shop products here in the UK are so cheap compared to any other countries. Let’s see what you all have to say… ;)

Body Polish – £9 ($14)

Body Lotion – £8 ($12.45)

Shower Gel – £6 ($9.35)

Body Butter – £12.50 ($19.45)

And because I love the freshness of this Satsuma line, my hubby said I am now the walking air-freshener!

It’s in the news! iPhone with diamonds are available for real. Amosu, a British company that’s known for its glamour by covering gadgets with gold and diamonds will soon be offering an iPhone that has 420 diamonds with a total weight of 5.65 carats set in 18K white or yellow gold. How much? Hhhmmm… only $41,225. 8-O

Would you want to have one? Oh, no! Don’t ask me. Not the careless me. I don’t deserve even a single diamond, what more 420? :P

Dell Studio 1558 it is!!! I’m not into stylish laptop, really. All I want is one that has good specifications and with really big computer memory. Hubby has been thinking of buying me a new lappy since December last year, but budget wise, we opt not to. But now that he knows I need it badly since I now work online and really earn good, he finally decided on buying.

This is to replace my 3 year old Acer Aspire 4310 which has Intel Celeron M Processor, 512MB RAM and 80GB Hard Drive – and knowing the specs of it, I know I need not ask for more. =)

Then now that I really need a good one, I think I deserve this new Dell Studio 1558, Intel Core i5 – 430M Processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB Hard Drive, added with Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium and Blue-ray player – I think this one will last longer than 3 years.

Of course, my warmest thanks to my one and only love, my life, my bestfriend, my lover, my everything… Thanks Dad!!! I love you sooooo much!!! Much more because of this??? LOL! *kidding*

fitflop

fitflopHavaianas, Crocs and Ipanemas are just a few branded rubber slippers I know of and none of them made me buy even 1 pair. I am such a cheapskate and I won’t spend so much for a rubber, you know? I am just not a fan. :P

But in FB, my friends are getting gaga over this new brand called fitflops and because they look better than the other brands I mentioned, I asked hubby if we can try it. They say it’s so comfortable and it relaxes the feet.

Hubby and I got these pairs for £45 ($70) each and because we really had a long walk before we found it, we changed to our new slippers right there and then. While on his new slippers after a few minutes of walking, hubby said it’s not making his feet feel better. He still continues to walk with it, though. While I, find my feet comfortable in their new expensive slippers. Until the next day, I wore it again and found it uneasy to walk. I felt a bit pain in my feet, but I don’t want to blame it on the slippers. I guess I got the wrong size. I should have gotten 1 size smaller so it will fit my feet perfectly. It’s sad though that I won’t have the chance to buy one in the right size anymore because I told myself that this will be my first and last expensive slippers, evah!

I am most comfortable though with my ever reliable pair of rubber slippers that I bought in the Philippines for $1. It’s just so soft and it relaxes my feet really well. Personally, I would rather buy a dozen or more of that cheap slippers in different colors than buy this one expensive pair again.
