My Body Shop Make-up Purchases

…and yes! You just read it right… MAKE-UP it is!!!

I remembered making a post about my Body Shop purchases, but I believe they are just about my new shower loot. That was when I started using the Body Shop’s bath and body products.

You can read my first Body Shop Purchases here.

Just a few weeks ago, October 29 to be exact, I decided to pimp and prettify myself so I dragged hubby to the beauty store and started getting a piece of lipstick and liquid foundation to start with. They are a bit out of the budget so I have to purchase a little at a time. Will make a post about this some other time, sorry forgot to take pics of them. ;)

Now, here’s what I got.

Body Shop Make-Up

Brush Roll Back

This pretty and practical brush roll contains five essential make-up tools.

• Brow & Lash Comb
• Smudger
• Lip Brush
• Eyeshadow Brush
• Blusher Brush
• Pretty satin pouch

Eye Palette – Midnight

These eye palettes feature four pearlescent eyeshadows and one shimmery cream highlighter.

• 4 pearlescent eyeshadows
• 1 cream highlighter
• Includes mirror and applicator

Shimmer Cubes Palette 18

I believe this is no longer available in most stores and online.

On the regular price and before all discounts, these are all worth £40. But I got the Brush Roll Back half-price, £20, Eye Palette as is, £10 and Shimmer Cubes from £16 to £5. Deducting the 10% membership discount, £5 birthday gift and £10 additional free gift, I only paid £16. But because my membership card is about to expire and I already used up all the stamps, I paid £5 for the renewal so in total, I paid, £21. NOT BAD!!!

This is why I love The Body Shop. The discounts are overwhelming. It makes me want to come back more often. Well I guess if this make-up passion thingy continues, I definitely will be coming back for more. ;)

The Body Shop – Satsuma Range

body shop - satsuma

I so love Body Shop, but because I find their items too pricey, I only get to use their products when my mom and aunt will be the one to pay. ;) My favorite then was their lip and chick tint, but when they changed the packaging, the quality of it also changed so I stopped and used another brand.

When we transferred to our current rented flat, I fancied their home fragrance and Satsuma became our favorite. I availed of the discount card only because I know I’ll be a frequent buyer of the Satsuma Oil.

Then a few weeks back, my aunt told me about the body products in Satsuma line and said she’s using it and it’s really good. I gave it a try and no mistake, it’s really G-O-O-D!!!

Even better because I got so much discounts because of my ever dearest friend, Jo, who made me use my discount card plus the £5 off her purchases.

They say Body Shop products here in the UK are so cheap compared to any other countries. Let’s see what you all have to say… ;)

Body Polish – £9 ($14)

Body Lotion – £8 ($12.45)

Shower Gel – £6 ($9.35)

Body Butter – £12.50 ($19.45)

And because I love the freshness of this Satsuma line, my hubby said I am now the walking air-freshener!
