Pilipinas Got Talent Vs. Britain’s Got Talent

Living in Britain for almost 2 years now and not really knowing local actors and actresses here makes me survive without watching the television. I don’t even know what airs on what time. The only show I know with the accurate time-slot is Milkshake which my daughter watches every morning before going to school. =)
However, there are 2 shows that I and my family enjoys and really follows; they are X-Factor which runs from summer to winter and Britain’s Got Talent from Spring to summer. There are few gaps in between though, so there are really times when only my daughter owns the TV.
I will warn you in advance – I will be bias in my opinion on these 2 shows. As a Filipino and being a true blooded Pinoy, I believe and I am proud to say that Pinoys are so much more talented than the British. The first time I watched Britain’s Got Talent, the first thing that came to my mind was, “Hhhhmmmm…. Pag nakita ni Simon Cowell ang mga talent ng Pinoy sa Pinas, paniguradong hahanga sya.” (“Hhhhmmmm…. When Simon Cowell sees the talents of the Filipinos, I’m sure he’ll be so amazed.”) And when I learned that ABS-CBN acquired Got Talent franchise, I know my thought is now coming to life.
I haven’t seen yet how different the show is to the original, but I’m sure it will be a lot of fun. Pinoys are talented in their chosen craft and having this kind of show gives the ordinary Filipino people a chance to shine. Come and watch with us HERE, it’s free!
